Is this plan for you?
Running 8 minutes per mile or 5 minutes per kilometer is a tough but desirable goal for many runners. Completing a 26-mile run at an 8-minute mile pace is a significant achievement and often a lifelong aspiration for many.
This plan is suitable for those with some running experience, ideally having completed a half marathon in 1 hour and 40 minutes. If you're transitioning from base training, this plan is perfect for you, providing 16 weeks of solid preparation.
Remember to listen to your body and make adjustments as needed throughout the training. While perfection may be elusive, following a plan increases your chances of success compared to training solely by instinct.
