 Is This Plan for You?

Before starting the sub-3-hour program, it's beneficial to meet certain standards. Ideally, you should be able to run a half marathon at your goal marathon pace of 6:52 per mile, which translates to 1:29:59 for the half marathon.

In addition to the half marathon goal time, runners considering this plan should consistently run 30-45 miles per week. We recommend completing our 8-week advanced base plan before starting this program to set you up for the greatest success. Both the base plan and the sub-3-hour plan are designed to complement each other and can be found as a bundle deal under Running Plans.

These recommendations aim to ensure a smooth transition and help you choose the right plan for your goals.

Remember to listen to your body and make adjustments as needed throughout your training. While perfection may be elusive, following a structured plan increases your chances of success compared to training by instinct alone.
